A 4000-ton KaoHsiong Vessel of Coast Guard Taiwan (CGA) executed its surveillance duty with the new purchased Unmanned Helicopter (UAV) for the first time and had successfully seized a mainland China’s sand-pump dredger conducting illegal sand pumping at Taiwan territorial sea around PengHu island on 17th of June.

The UAV Team of AVIX was invited to cooperate with TaiTung Police Department to execute the “2019 Air Defense Drill” at the east coast of Taiwan, 29th of May.

See our UAV at the Humanitarian Rescue Drill (“Nan-Yuan4”) near Taiping Island, the largest natural island among the contested Spratly Islands at 21st of May!

The UAV Team of Coastguard (CGA) has been called in to help detect and search for a suspicious boat of operating illegal trawling at the southern coastal area of Taiwan on 30th of April, 2019.

The pictures were taken clearly with the UAV’s high-resolution gimbal and the evidence of criminal activity was well-performed through the video-link and shown on the screen of the Ground Control Station.

A shipowner was caught for reserved plants poaching from the marine protected area by the UAV Team of Coastguard (CGA) on 24th of April, 2019 at the northern part of Taiwan.

The plants are considered as high valued protected species.

The UAVs, designed and manufactured by AVIX Tech. have been widely used to enhance the effectiveness of the marine safety and environmental protection tasks since the beginning of this year, and 12 more UAVs are expected to be delivered to different branches of CGA around the west and east coastal areas of Taiwan by the end of May 2019.

Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration (CGA) performed its UAV actual drill around the coastal areas today with the intention to prevent the African Swine Flu (ASF) from entering and affecting Taiwan. CGA had purchased 8 UAV designed and made by AVIX Tech. (田屋科技) last year and following by another 12 UAV which is expected to be completed and handed over to CGA by the end of April, 2019.

AVIX Tech to supply Taiwan Coastguard

AVIX Tech. wins the biggest non-military UAVs procurement project in a bidding launched by the Coast Guard Administration (CGA) of Taiwan at 30th of May, 2018. The project covers a  total value of US$4,250,000 with the procurement of 8 UAVs by the end of 2018 and the other 12 UAVs before May of 2019.

A kickoff meeting had been held at CGA on 8th of June, 2018 with the main purpose of deployment the details of education and training course to enhance the knowledge and skill of mastering the UAVs in a more effective way. Selective members of more than 30 participants from different branch offices of CGA are expected to attend the courses in the near future.   AXG-BD30 built-in high resolution EO and IR dual cores in a compact 3 axis stabilizes PTZ gimbal. The mounting mechanism adopts the quick-release design which enables the gimbal to be removed easily. Operated by the exclusive software and through the IP and interface, the gimbal is well connected with the wireless linkage system, the downlink image and uplink PTZ control command can be linked with the GCS directly.
